The Bruichladdich Octomore Edition 13.1 Scottish Barley Bourbon Cask 5 year old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is comprised of 100% Scottish Concerto barley malted to 137.3PPM and is finished to 59.2% ABV. Released as part of the Impossible Equation lineup of Octomore, this exceptional whisky is aged for at least 5 years in a blend of ex-bourbon and ex-Tennessee whiskey casks. For even more flavor, the distillate is later re-casked in traditional American oak - imparting a rich, unforgettable oakiness. Expect a nose of ripe bananas in toffee, smoke, and herbs over a palate of ash, charred peaches, cream, honey, and toasted coconut seasoned with ginger.
