Baldoria Rosso Vermouth

Lightly sweet Rosso Vermouth incorporating both Chardonnay and Nebbiolo wines from Piedmont. Separate macerations of botanicals in a hydro alcoholic solution (grain-neutral spirit and water) and wine. Natural sugars are diluted in wine solution, followed by blending of the two macerations. Aging in steel tanks followed by light filtration and bottling. Some natural sedimentation is common across varieties. No Flavors, no extracts, no colorants, no clarifying agents, no preservatives.

Deep and aromatic, vinous and fruity, and slightly lighter in weight (and sweetness) than many products in this category. Made with both Chardonnay and Nebbiolo wines, it balances its freshly bitter, herbal notes of thyme and summer savory with sweet red fruit and orange peel notes. The bitterness comes from the wormwood, typical of Italian vermouth. As the Baldoria Rosso’s bitterness is somewhat lighter compared to Vermouth’s which makes use of bark and root, the Baldoria Rosso is bolstered with red wine for the tannins and body.
