Glenfarclas 40 Year Warehouse edition - 750 ML

Initially chocolate, then a hint of herbal coffee and some sort of slightly musty nuttiness (no doubt the sherry influence) mingled with raisins and dried fruits (figs? prunes?). Very reminiscent of home-made christmas cake mixed with a touch of Cadbury's Fruit & Nut. Perhaps to my nose, a hint of leather mixed with menthol (or is it mint?). Some pine resin too.
