Korbel Natural

Winemaking: Since its introduction in 1962, Korbel’s Natural has a long and established history at the winery. We do everything possible to preserve the integrity and brightness of the delicate fruit used in the blend. This includes gentle whole cluster pressing of the grapes at harvest, as well as cool juice temperatures during settling, fermentation and aging.

The Pinot noir grapes give the Natural its red fruit profile with elements of tart cherry and fresh strawberries readily apparent. The Chardonnay adds flavors and aromas of green apple and zesty Meyer lemon. Extended tirage aging rounds out the blend with subtle yeasty notes and a creaminess in the mouthfeel and finish. The drier dosage level at 0.7% allows all these crisp fruit characters to really shine, while perfectly rounding out and balancing the blend.
